Gelene

Gelene has been creating art since a child. Her work ranged from drawings to illustrations and led her to acquire an Advanced Diploma in film school from Sheridan College in Oakville, ON.
Originally from Manila, Philippines, she moved around with her family during most of her youth, also having lived in Jakarta, Indonesia before moving and building roots in Toronto, ON, Canada.

Having been exposed to different social and ethnic realities (both good and bad), during her formative years, has turned her into a very curious adult with a personal interest in sociology and psychology that she likes to apply in her work – be it as a tattoo artist, Project Manager, or writer.
She sincerely believes in the power of art and its capacity to push humanity forward by bringing in new perspectives through expression.

She is also an avid scuba diver and hiker who likes to check out arts & culture things (of course) when she travels. Locally, she hits the gym, does hot yoga, and attends Krav Maga.
